Veterans Boulevard Interchange at Route 99 Advance Planning Study

Cornerstone prepared the Advanced Planning Study (APS) for the proposed Veterans Boulevard project in northwest Fresno.  The project provided access and circulation improvements across State Route 99, Golden State Boulevard, and the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) to support current and planned urban development within the area.  Due to the proximity of SR99 to Golden State Boulevard and the UPRR tracks and the need for continued traffic circulation, the project required creative engineering and close coordination between the project consultants, the City of Fresno, and Caltrans.
