Cornerstone provided the construction documents for the new 7,500 square foot wood-framed fire station in Windsor, CA.  The fire station includes two apparatus bays, turn-out rooms, offices, and living quarters for the fire fighters. Long-span steel elements in the apparatus bay eliminate the need for any interior columns.  These beams were curved to accommodate the roof over the apparatus bay and supported large, cantilevered spans that act as rain and sun shading at the front and rear.
