Earlier this month, Cornerstone and Provost & Pritchard (P&P) teamed up to present during Career Day at Bethune Elementary! Kids from 4th-6th grade learned a bit about the vast breadth of civil engineering from practicing engineers. Highlights included college classes, professional life, and local projects in and around Fresno. Students asked some real thought-provoking questions, such as: "How did they build the bridge when the river is full of water? Why are there so many young potholes on the road? Do you make a lot of money?" With such bright questions from such young minds, be assured that future generations of young engineers are already showing a lot of promise! Special thanks to Emma Archuleta with P&P for coordinating our involvement with the awarding events.
Thank you to Regina Barton and Jesus Delgadillo for taking the time to come and inspire our next generation of Engineers.
